As it’s the start of term we thought it would be useful to introduce a few more members of the Placements Team. This week is the turn of Prem, you may already recognise her as she’s regularly on hand at the Placements Desk.
Hi, I’m Premila and I’m new to the Placements Administration team. I joined the team only a few weeks ago, after having worked with MMU’s Law School for over 4 years. I will be involved throughout the placements journey, from promoting opportunities through to checking that Placement Assessment Files are in order at the end of a placement. I love that I started this role at the beginning of a new academic year and can’t wait to start meeting everyone in the first few weeks of term. (more…)
We’ve had a few staffing changes in the Placements Team over the summer. Our Placement and Projects Coordinator Shauna has been seconded into a different team (she’s still on campus so if you see her around say hi!). In this latest ‘Meet the Team’ post we hear from her replacement Carole Lee. Carole’s spent the last 2 weeks getting to grips with all things placement and is raring to go for the start of term!

I will also be managing the placement process for MSc Human Resource Management students, liaising with employers and students to ensure the placements run smoothly. (more…)

An afternoon where students who have been out on placement come back to tell students who are starting their search for a placement about the placement process and share insights into what they learnt along the way.
